Annual Winnsboro Classic Car Show

historic downtown Winnsboro,
Texas USA
Sponsored by the Winnsboro Rotary Club, this classic car show
has quickly earned a reputation as being one of the best shows in the East Texas area and continues to grow each
year. This is a Top 25 show with special awards given for
“Best of” awards, Peoples Choice, and the annual featured car or
truck of each year’s show. This year, we dedicate the 2011 Classic
Car Show to the Chevrolet Corvette as the featured car and there will be awards
given in several different Corvette classes. Registration begins at
7am—judging begins at 11:30pm and awards presented by 2pm.
The Winnsboro Rotary Club is partnering with the Winnsboro Community
Resource Center
to assist in providing supplies for the Winnsboro Community
Resource Center’s
food pantry for families and individuals in the Winnsboro area. We will
have an enclosed utility trailer on site at this year’s show and our goal
is “fill the trailer” with canned food and non-perishable food
items that will be used to stock the food pantry. We are encouraging
the public and all attendees to this year’s show to help us in our goal
and with every 5 canned food items you donate to the “fill the
trailer” campaign, you will be automatically entered into a special
drawing for 50 of the new Presidential Dollar Coins. For the
mathematically challenged reading this—you could win $50! There
will be door prizes and cash drawings throughout the day, so everyone has a
chance to win something.
Invite your classic car buddies, car club members and all your
friends to come out on Labor Day Weekend- Sept 3, 2011 to Winnsboro, TX for a
day of 50s music, great food, cool cars and trucks and family friendly entertainment.
